Fledermaus. It means ‘bat’ in German, but sounds funny – it translates as ‘flying mouse’ in English. So Batman would be ‘Flying Mouse Man’ in German…
Facts you may not know about me:
I’ve interviewed the children’s picture book writer Chris Haughton (he wrote A Bit Lost and Oh no, George!) for Wrap magazine, which I edit with my sister Polly. Also, writing poems is one of my favourite things to do in the world, and I play tennis whenever I can. My favourite colour is green. I played guitar and sang in a band called ‘The Camden Sporting Arts and Social Club Band’ and we performed at the inaugural Isle of Man Festival.
