Welcome to Pakeman’s PTA website page!
Want to Make a Difference to Children at Pakeman?
Why not join the PTA?
Pakeman PTA aims:
We have a growing PTA, dedicated to building strong links between home and school through whole school events, participation in school learning and fundraising.
What is Pakeman PTA?
Pakeman PTA is a voluntary group that ALL parents and carers of Pakeman children are invited to become involved in. PTA members attend meetings, vote on proposals and make suggestions for raising funds.
What does the PTA do?
We often plan several fun and exciting events! We have informal and relaxed meetings to plan events such as Christmas and summer fairs, Eid parties and cinema evenings. The PTA also contributes to initiatives to engage parents/carers throughout the curriculum. Due to Covid 19 our normal plans are currently on hold but we hope to resume events as soon as Government guidelines allow.
Pakeman PTA always welcomes and encourages new members, to ensure there is a breadth of opinions from all classes in school and to capitalise on the wide-ranging skill sets and experience of all our parents and carers.
Our meetings are for everyone, so why not come along to one? To find out information about how to get involved in planning events and participating in learning in school, please contact Emma Bonnin (Deputy Head).
We will inform parents about meetings in advance and we look forward to your support over the coming year.
