2022/2023
In the Autumn term, our topics are Stone Age to Iron Age and Journeys; we will be reading Ug : Boy Genius Of The Stone Age and The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. In Science we will see how the Earth is made of different types of rock.
In the Spring term our topics are Look up! Our Local History and Vikings to Saxons, where we will be focussing on local authors and the history of London, as well as reading Beowulf and learning about how the Vikings influenced early Britain.
In the Summer term our topics are Rainforests and Rulers of the World in which we will study the habitats of animals and plants in the tropics and learn about famous rulers of lesser known ancient civilisations like Benin, Sumer and the Indus Valley civilisation.
