Chinese New Year is one of the biggest events of the year for many East and South East Asian people and is marked by communities all over the world.  Families and friends get together to eat lots of delicious food, enjoy fireworks, wear special clothes and hang red lanterns to mark the occasion.  At Pakeman, some of our children had their own celebrations in class.  They made traditional dragons, lanterns and tasted some tasty foods, including rice cakes.  EYFS children have particularly busy with their celebrations.
