This week Years 1 to 4 had a fantastic time exploring the London Wetlands Centre. The trip began with a story and a surprise meeting with one of its characters, who set the children special nature-themed challenges. It was a wonderful way to bring reading to life and take it out into nature, sparking imagination and curiosity. Working together, the children used found materials to build their very own nest, showing fantastic teamwork and creativity. They watched the otters being fed, spotted a wide variety of birds, made friends with trees, and even created and followed their own nature trails. They rounded off the day with lots of fun in the adventure playground. It was a joyful and inspiring outdoor learning experience that left everyone buzzing with excitement. Thank you so much to Marta for organising it! Every child who attended will also receive a voucher entitling them to a FREE VISIT WITH THEIR FAMILY at any Wetland Centre.
