2+ children had great fun recently on their ‘Bear Hunt’ sensory trail.  They enjoyed wading through lots of things – warm water, sandy mud, a forest full of logs and shredded paper snow.  They then ran all the way home from the bear. The children used lots of emotive language such as scared, happy and excited. They also used lots of descriptive language to describe the sensations they could feel on their feet. They came up with great words, such as wet, soft, cold, hard, ouchie and crunchy.

What an adventure!!
