Children in EYFS have been learning about Lunar New Year celebrations. Children made rattle drums, learnt to write numbers using Chinese characters and enjoyed the story of the Chinese zodiac. Some had fun reading the story The Tiger Who Came To Tea and invited the tiger to join them for delicious snacks, including noodles and prawn crackers. They also had fun doing some sensory noodle play and making crafts and decorations, including masks, lanterns and red envelopes.
