During Black History Month, years 1 and 2 read the beginning of the book My Skin Your Skin by Laura Henry-Allain MBE. They learned that we are all different and our differences make us amazing. They described themselves and discussed what makes everyone unique and special. Inspired by the book, the children painted self-portraits and watercolour backgrounds. They are proud of their differences! The children will be revisiting this book in the Spring and Summer term.
