Last half term, our fantastic Year 3 and 4 children explored the exciting world of 3D models and sculpting. They learned how sculptures are created and discussed different techniques artists use to shape and carve materials. The highlight of the unit was when the children had the chance to carve their very own soap sculptures! Using careful control and patience, they chipped, shaped and smoothed their soap to create unique 3D models. It was wonderful to see their creativity shine as they transformed a simple bar of soap into imaginative works of art. Well done, Year 3 and 4!
