This year, F.L.A.M.E have been visiting Pakeman and working with a group of dedicated children every Wednesday. This group was founded in 1991 to bridge the gap between young people and opportunities in creative arts. They use performing arts as a tool and basis to engage young people in creative writing, music, drama and modern/contemporary/street/ creative cultural dance. Last week, the group’s work culminated in an amazing creative performance. Thanks to Marcia for organising the group. Also very special thanks to Rochelle and Wendy for their energy, patience and big smiles every week. For anyone interested, the group also run Homework clubs at the Old Fire Station.
