KS1 have been learning about the Victorians this term. We have compared their lives in the past to ours today through toys, schooling and inventions. For the Whole School Exhibition, we worked on different projects inspired by the Victorians to put on display. Gold Class created their own collage stamps, as they were first used during this time. Yellow Class took inspiration from the penny farthing bicycle to make their own collage bicycle creations. Finally, Green Class worked on a design and technology project to make woven patches, as weaving was an important skill of the time. All of our work was put on display with the rest of the school’s contributions to the Britain Through the Ages Exhibition.
