Over the last few weeks, KS1 have been working hard on a cross-curricular project that combined Literacy, Art, DT and computing all in one! We have made stop motion animations to tell a part of our focus story ‘The Runaway Wok’. First, we read and acted out the story and did lots of writing about it. Then, in partners, we made the characters and props and created a background for our animation. Finally, we used the iMotion program on the iPads to create our animations. Have a look at a few examples. The artwork created from the project will be used to create a new display in our classroom!
