New Books For All! Thanks to the Richard Reeve’s Foundation!

Last week we were very excited to receive a delivery of  brand new books for our classrooms and the library! All classrooms have now got an exciting new range of non-fiction texts based on all of the different topics we study throughout the school and important issues that our world is facing at the moment. We are looking forward to seeing children use the books to help increase their general knowledge skills and find out new interesting facts! In EYFS and KS1 the classes have all received new decodable home reading books, which they can read together at home with their parents and carers, and guided reading books to work on in class. In KS2 the children have been enjoying having the chance to read our class books altogether after having invested in whole class sets of these books. This has helped increase their stamina in reading and has ensured that every child has the chance to read an exciting and challenging text beyond their reading age!
